Fox on Sex – Talking about Vibrators and a Girl’s Best Friend?

I couldn’t believe it!  I was reading the news this morning when I came across the following post on the fox news website:

Fox on Sex: Vibrators – A Girl’s Friend of Foe?

Just as the author describes the smile on her face when asked whether she could be interviewed about vibrator addiction, so did my own face light up.  How deliciously novel to see this old friend of mine being debated so openly on a mainstream media website!

Beyond the theory espoused by some that a vibrator or any sex toy for that matter might eventually pose the risk of partner replacement the following idea that “It’s hard to fault a woman for wanting her vibe” followed by the clarification of the author that:

First, let’s be clear. There is nothing harmful, bad or unhealthy about using a vibrator.

She then goes on describing the realities of “clitoral stimulation” who’s 8000 or so nerve endings who are best served by the direct contact of a vibrator(who knew my clitoris had so many nerves and different sources of pleasure) .

She talks about body response explaining how our body is wired to respond to specific stimulation, “vibrating” or otherwise and concludes by the following statement:

After all, there’s nothing wrong with using a vibrator every time you have sex. Why should using a vibe religiously be any different from using lube every time you’re intimate with yourself or another? Who says that you shouldn’t?

I couldn’t have said it better myself. 🙂
